Welcome to AVK Writes, a blog whose sole purpose is for me to write. Okay, well what are you going to be writing about, Anna?

That’s the fun part. I have absolutely no idea. The whole idea for this blog came to be when I was thinking about what I want to accomplish in 2025. I’m not big on New Year’s resolutions or super specific goals because that’s never really worked out for me in the past. So this year I’m choosing an alternative route. I’ve selected three words as my intentions for the year: Read. Create. Move.

I’ll save explaining all three of them in depth for my first blog article, but I will touch briefly on Create. For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved writing. I’ve written short stories, poems, songs, …fan-fiction (no, you cannot read it). I’ve never done anything with that love besides posting a few videos on my personal Instagram of songs I’ve written. So I figured why not start a blog? Worst case scenario I’m the only one that will read it. I don’t have a niche, unless random thoughts of a 31 year old woman is a niche.
